Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is a popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films as well as a couple of Malayalam. She received an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 for her portrayal of actress Savitri which was in the Telugu film Mahanati. She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her early career was as an actress for children. Then, following a course in the field of Fashion Design, she returned to acting. Her first leading part in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy embarked on her very first Malayalam projects, and then began to work with Tamil at the same time. The first film she acted in was A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu, though the film was not a success in the theater. Due to her busy schedule for 2015, she could not choose but to pull herself out of projects on which she had already begun making appearances, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the following years, she was working on Rajini Murugan's Remo and Remo in two film. Also, Dhanush and she played as the main characters in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film has been delayed in 2015, and there are reports that it would be released in September 2020, with the name of Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja with Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was cast as Vijay In Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on the 17th of January, 2017. Keerthy was in Tamil movie Paambhu Satai as well as Telugu film Nenu Local both in 2017.
