Summer Glau was an American actress best known for her character River Tam in Firefly, a critically acclaimed television series. Also, she played Cameron in Terminator. In the series, she played Sarah Connor Chronicles. Additionally the shows, she was also on the TV shows The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered and Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and also guest-starred for the series Hawaii Five-0. The actress, who has appeared in films like Serenity and Knights of Badassdom has also made a few TV movies and short films such as Mammoth The Birth of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon Help to Celebrate the Holidays Dead End and Inside the Box to name a few. Glau received many accolades and prizes. She has been twice featured among the 100 Sexiest Ladies in the World by FHM and once ranked in The Wizard Magazine's list for the Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim also included Glau as an American in their Hot 100. In terms of her acting achievements, Glau has won SFX Award for Best Actress for Serenity. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest of three kids of Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena began her music career when she was 8 years aged. Her father started an ensemble. Selena's older brothers Abraham junior and Abraham junior, who played the base guitar, and Sister Suzette drummers also were part of the group. Selena also sang. The band was called Selena Y Los Dino and the group would perform with her siblings in a variety of places like wedding fairs, bars, and restaurants as well as many other places. The group was extremely and time-consuming for Selena and her siblings so they didn't have much of their own childhood. They had the opportunity to develop into dedicated musicians because of determination from Their father Abraham. Abraham Senior was in Los Dinos, the first band. Selena Y Los Dinos officially began its existence in 1981. The band was a tradition of the family as well as the principal source of income for the family. While it was not without its struggles initially with limited money the Quintanilla family stood firm and persevered with their efforts to become a thriving group. Selena Y Los Dinos became well-known in the western states by late 1980s. In 1986, the group got their first taste as Selena got awards for Female Singer of the Year and Artist of the Year in the Tejano music awards. Selena Y Los Dinos became famous and recognized at this time.
