Elizabeth Claire Ellie Kemper (born May 2nd, 1980) is an American writer and actress. Her most famous role is portraying Erin Hannon on the NBC sitcom The Office, and Kimmy Schmidt in the film Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Also known for other roles in supporting roles, she has been seen in Bridesmaids as well as 21 Jump Street. Ellie Kemper, an American actress, is well known for her roles as a comedian in The Office television series and Bridesmaids. The actress's latest performance in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt in which she has the primary role and has earned her some notoriety and attention. Kemper who had initially made several guest appearances in television series started her film career beginning with 2009's comedy feature Mystery Team where she played a supporting role. Her first significant television role was The Office. She played a charming and bizarre receptionist in a support role, which gained her plenty of attention.
